TO ACCELERATE THE SEARCH FOR A CURE BY STIMULATING AND SUPPORTING PROMISING RESEARCH ON PEDIATRIC , BY EDUCATING AND ASSISTING PHYSICIANS AND PATIENTS ON THE COMPLEXITIES OF THE DISEASE, AND BY INCREASING AWARENESS AND ADVOCACY ON BEHALF OF AFFECTED CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES.
