In-kind support valued at $20,000 to a New York City public, private, or charter school for recreational activities. The support is intended to implement a bicycle riding program in an elementary school. The goal of the program is to lead children to achieve personal and academic growth, desire higher levels of physical activity, and make healthier eating choices. The grant recipient will receive bikes, helmets, teacher curriculum and training, and student kits for each student participating in the program.

The grant recipient will receive bikes, helmets, teacher curriculum and training, and student kits for each student participating in the program. The value of this grant is $20,000.

Term of Contract:

Recipients must:
- Implement the Program within six months of the date of the signed agreement.
- Agree to teach the program for a minimum of three consecutive years.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Only public, private, or charter schools in NYC are eligible.

Please submit only one application per school.

Pre-Application Information:

All grant applications are due by midnight on October 16, 2020.

You will be provided with a Grant Worksheet to prepare your application. You must transfer your answers to the online application. Only online applications will be accepted.

Only completed applications will be considered. The more complete your answers, the better your chance of being selected to receive a CYCLE Kids program for your school.

The Rapha Foundation CYCLE Kids Program Grant covers all Program costs for the first year, a value of $20,000. In subsequent years, the School will need to purchase a Student Kit for each student participating in the Program. The current price is $15, plus shipping and handling fees.
