Disney Conservation Fund (DCF)

Grants of up to $50,000 to USA, Canada, and International nonprofit organizations for community based conservation programs in priority states and countries. Applicants are required to submit a Letter of Inquiry prior to submitting a full proposal. Funding is intended to support projects that involve community engagement, education, and field research focused on wildlife species and their habitats.

The Disney Conservation Fund seeks to support projects which relate to Disney’s strategic priorities (for DCF priorities, see FAQs listed in Pre-Application Information below). The Fund will also consider support for projects focused on species and/or habitats featured at Disney’s Animal Kingdom or The Seas with Nemo and Friends at Epcot.
The proposal should clearly contribute to the conservation of endangered or threatened species in the wild and their habitats.
Projects must be based on in-situ research of species and/or habitats and incorporate meaningful community conservation education/engagement. Any projects focused on fully aquatic species (freshwater or marine) will be considered for funding.
The proposal should build on previous work including an established commitment to a conservation program or be well suited to become or contribute to a long-term conservation program.
Priority Considerations - The Disney Conservation Fund gives priority consideration to holistic programs addressing a significant conservation need (or projects that are part of a program) which reflect:

The DCF will consider requests for a maximum of $50,000 to be provided over a grant period of two years. The budget may be allocated in whatever way makes the most sense for the funded program; i.e. $30,000 in the first year, $20,000 in the second year, etc.
Grants may be provided over a period of two years.
